This is a novel with a soundtrack.The opening scene of the first chapter finds Stan softly strumming
guitar, picking carefully picking out chords. When words escape him, he often turns to music.The lyrics for the songs he writes are printed in full as an appendix in the book.The author has crafted rough versions of those songs, which can be heard on the @walkingwithjosie YouTube channel.
